Equipment Control Module
The Equipment Control module helps organizations manage
tools and equipment across sites. Features include inventory tracking,
geolocation, validity monitoring, QR-linked documents, and scheduled
inspections.
1. Inventory Management – List and track tools and equipment
Maintain a centralized inventory with item details (serial
no, model, location, condition, owner). Support categorization, search, bulk
import/export, and status indicators (available, in-use, under repair).
Low-stock alerts and procurement suggestions streamline operations.
2. Location Tracking – Monitor equipment within the site
Track equipment locations using GPS, BLE beacons, or manual
location tags. Visualize equipment on site maps, run location history queries,
and set geofenced zones for auto-alerts when items move out of permitted areas.
3. Validity Tracking – Tracking expiry date
Record expiry dates for certifications, calibrations, and
safety checks. The system sends proactive reminders before expiries and allows
batch renewals. Maintain a history of validity events for audits.
4. Unique QR – To view documents
Generate unique QR codes for each item that link to the
equipment profile and attached documents (manuals, certificates, inspection
logs). Scanning a QR provides instant access on-site and updates
check-in/check-out logs.
5. Inspection Scheduling – Plan regular inspections and track expiry dates
Schedule recurring inspections, assign inspectors, and
record inspection results. Auto-generate follow-up tasks for failed checks and
track inspection due-dates and expiries in dashboards and reports.
